#Bahamas, December 4, 2017 – Paradise Island – Tiger Woods, they are saying has gotten in groove back in The Bahamas after having 301 days off he gave an amazing show in his own golf tournament, the Hero World Challenge staged over the weekend at the Albany Resort in the Bahamas on Paradise Island.   Tiger did not win but golf writers loved his glow, his spirit that he was jovial and it seems a return to good form for the 79 time winner, including 14 major titles who is nearing his 42nd birthday.

American Rickey Fowler won on Sunday with a course-record 11-under 61 to win by four shots at 18-under 270.   Golf Digest and Golf Week are among the many publications raving about the weekend, its surprises, its setting and the name brands which competed in Tiger’s tournament.

Golf Digest said, “Tournament host Tiger Woods posted a final-round four-under 68, which got him to eight-under 280 on the week.   All things considered, most would qualify it as a successful return for the 14-time major champion, including Tiger, who reflected on the week positively.”

This is another feather in the cap for sports tourism in The Bahamas.
