#TurksandCaicos, December 29, 2017 – Providenciales – Marine Police managed to stop a Haitian sloop getting to shore after a local fisherman spotted their boat approaching Providenciales. The interception happened around 7pm Thursday. The illegal Haitian migrants were said to be on a sailing-yacht type craft.
Thankfully, it was an uneventful arrest of the 47 males and seven females who were ultimately brought to shore on board police boat. The illegals are being held at the South Dock Road Detention centre.
