#Bahamas, December 14, 2017 – Paradise Island, Nassau – RIU resort on Paradise Island is seeing public relations returns after hosting international media at its resort November into December; the 379 room hotel had shut down over summer for a facelift following a marauding encounter with hurricane Matthew of 2016.  Over 300 staff returned to work following the $25m renovation; it was the promise RIU had made to Government about re-employment.   Opening day was October 27 and reviews so far have given RIU ratings that say it is great value for money on Paradise Island.

The UK Telegraph, the Vancouver Courier, Travel Weekly, Caribbean Journal, FTN News including Hispanic online publications are all carrying the story that RIU Paradise Islands, after a three-month closure and multi-million dollar reno is open for business.    While reviews at TripAdvisor are mixed, the large majority give the property an excellent or very good rating.

Virginia Casado Castillo, press manager America, RIU had said in October that: “We are organizing an international press trip to present the hotel and promote the Bahamas as a unique destination.”  RIU is an adult all-inclusive resort.
