#TurksandCaicos, November 22, 2017 – Providenciales – All of the rainy weather means a lot of water potentially being around homes and businesses and communities and this sets up a perfect breeding ground for mosquitoes. This week, the Ministry of Health reminds the general public to check around their properties to ensure there is no standing water.
During the PDM Media debrief last week, Minister of Health Edwin Astwood said the Environmental Health Department was ready with its preventative plan and that the twin islands would be getting a new vector control officer and a new vector control truck to keep mosquito population down there.
