Miss Bahamas represents at Miss Universe

#UnitedStates, November 27, 2017 – Las Vegas – Miss Bahamas Universe Yasmine Cooke should have had a wonderful time in Las Vegas at the Miss Universe Pageant despite being unable to bring the coveted crown home to the 242.    Cooke, a medical student at the University of the West Indies was a part of a stellar constellation, the largest competition ever for Miss Universe with 92 women entered as beauty ambassadors for their countries.

The show unfolded at Planet Hollywood on  Sunday night and creeping close to taking the crown, once again was Caribbean country, Jamaica.   Davina Bennett got 2nd runner up in the pageant.    First runner up was Miss Colombia Laura Gonzalez and winning the title of Miss Universe 2017-2018, was Miss South Africa, Demi Leigh Nell Peters.
