#Bahamas, November 18, 2017 – Grand Bahama – The Cuban Ambassador to The Bahamas, Her Excellency Ismara M. Vargas Walter, paid a courtesy call on Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister, Grand Bahama, Senator the Hon. Kwasi Thompson, November 16, 2017.
Accompanying the Ambassador was Liaison officer for Cuban Teachers, Jose Reinel Garcia Sanchez. While on island, the delegation toured schools and met with Cuban teachers, as well as those employed in the health system.
