Bahamas Police get drugs, guns, ammunition and two most wanted off Nassau streets

#Bahamas, November 10, 2017 – Nassau – Police capture two most wanted men, wanted for a string of recent armed robberies.   The men were taken in around 10am on Thursday by the Mobile Division in the area of Dowdswell and Armstrong Streets.   They were driving a blue Nissan when they were intercepted by the lawmen.

Also on Thursday, multiple guns and illegal drugs were found by Police, taken off the streets.   The K9 unit was involved in a search of a property on Quarry Mission road where marijuana was found, a Bahamian man is arrested in connection.   Around noon Thursday the DEU, Drug Enforcement Unit Officers, executed a search warrant on a residence at Gibbs Lane, New Providence and retrieved a black Sky CPX handgun, fifty three rounds of ammunition, and marijuana.   Three Suspects were taken into custody for this seizure.

And if those concerning reports were not enough, there is more as the Anti-Gang and Firearms Investigation Unit acting on information, went to an Auto Body Repair shop on Zion Boulevard, South Beach where they searched a 2015 Chevy Malibu and found two magazines and thirty-four rounds of ammunition.   There was no arrest in the third matter.
