#TurksandCaicos, October 10, 2017 – Providenciales – The TCI Hospitals is already taking advantage of offering cosmetic surgery to individuals from outside of the country, thanks to having board certified specialist surgeons from the United States.   The program runs quarterly and is a part of what is described as the Cosmetic Surgery program where both procedures and consultations are happening.

The revelation comes with the return of a #TCIHospitals delegation from Los Angeles where the team continues its work to create a robust medical tourism industry in the Turks and Caicos Islands.    Quality Healthcare in Paradise was the pitch for the Turks and Caicos Hospitals when the facility showcased its Provo and Grand Turk locations in California from October 2-4.

It was the 10th World Medical Tourism and Global Congress, and the InterHealth Canada TCI Hospitals was a bronze sponsor at the gathering in LA.  TCI Hospitals CEO, Daniel Carrier; Marketing and PR Manager, Nikira John and Visiting Consultant, Kay Vanes Williams – all certified in Medical Tourism – represented the islands and its healthcare offering to leaders in Medical Travel, Healthcare, Wellness, Benefits and Insurance.

TCI Hospitals explained that there was great value in attending the Congress, as the number of people seeking medical treatment abroad is growing, year on year – billions of people are travelling for medical treatment.   The World Medical Tourism and Global Congress, this year, attracted 400 qualified buyers and 3,000 participants.
