#Bahamas, October 18, 2017 – Nassau – Police say they have a suspect for the Ida Street shooting of Monday night, explaining that the launch of an island wide man hunt was a success in this case and others are being sought for the Monday night crime.   The victim was standing in the front of his home when he was shot by two men, who drove up to him in a white Honda vehicle and sped off.

Police also yesterday released wanted posters.   The shooting on Ida Street takes the country’s murder count to 113.   It is a horrifying statistic which has the PM of The Bahamas, Dr. Hubert Minnis begging Bahamians to turn the criminals in to authorities.   In 2016, The Bahamas counted 111 people killed and saw the figure spike to an alarming 146 in 2015, according to the tabulation of the #NassauGuardian.
