#Bahamas, October 23, 2017 – Grand Bahama – New airlift for Grand Bahama Island is coming in an eight-seater seaplane and it is being rolled out as an initiative to provide more commercial flights through Port St Lucie in South Florida.

Treasure Coast International Airport Director, John Waitrak is quoted in an article from last Wednesday saying the amphibious aircraft will leave the Causeway Cove Marina on Fridays and Sundays for Grand Bahama, adding that the link to The Bahamas will open up the islands and the Caribbean to the Treasure Coast region.

Fly the Whale, a NY based airline company is to run the flights.
