#TurksandCaicos, October 2, 2017 – Providenciales – Due to the devastating impact of Hurricanes Irma and Maria and the resultant damage to the Lands Division building on Grand Turk, coupled with the disruption of essential services, including electricity and all forms of communication, the Hon. Attorney General announces the temporary relocation of the Crown Land Unit, Land Registry, Survey & Mapping Department and the Valuation Department to the Attorney General’s Chambers at Waterloo Plaza, Waterloo Road, Grand Turk.

As of Monday, October 2, 2017, these offices will resume limited services to the public from that location on a temporary basis whilst work continues to restore functionality to the Lands Division building at Government Compound, Pond Street, Grand Turk.

The public is also advised that the services offered by these Departments will be limited due to space and other logistical constraints.   The various departments are in the process of reviewing their services and standards and necessary adjustments will be shared with the public as soon as possible.

The continued patience of the public is appreciated as we work towards restoring full service to our customers.
