Nassau, Bahamas – October 13, 2017 – A Ganja farm is dug up now, after area residents reported the strong smell of the drugs coming from a home off Thompson Boulevard in Nassau.

Drug Enforcement Unit Officers on Friday said this was a sophisticated operation and found growing both inside and outside of the home were 280 plants ranging in height from two to eight feet.

The marijuana was being grown at a residence on Portago Road and three people are locked up.

A Bahamian man, a Jamaica man and a woman are being held for the illegal drug farm.
