#TurksandCaicos, September 21, 2017 – Providenciales – Efforts to brace for #HurricaneMaria should be moving more aggressively now, and this includes the removal of debris which is everywhere still. These items, which homeowners were yesterday encouraged to remove themselves if they can, will become dangerous projectiles once the strong winds of Hurricane Maria come in.
Maria can dump anywhere from four inches to one foot of rain on terrain, which is already waterlogged. The Premier yesterday explained that additional wells are being dug, to circumvent flooding.
