Police Find Drugs in Grand Bahama

Bahamas, September 13, 2017 – Grand Bahama – Reports are that on Tuesday 12th September 2017 shortly after 11:00 am, Drug Enforcement Unit Officers acting on information went to an area in Royal Bahamia Estates in a building under construction and discovered three clear plastic bags each containing a quantity of suspected marijuana. No arrest was made in this matter, police are investigating.

Police are appealing to the public to share information on any illegal/suspicious activities in their communities, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, members of the public are urged to anonymously contact the police at 919 or Crime Stoppers at 328-tips (8477) (New Providence) or 1-242-300-8476 (Family Island)
