Bahamas, September 5th, 2017 – Nassau – The murders are not stopping, even in the face of a potentially deadly storm and when Bahamians and residents ought to be focused on preparing and helping each other to prepare, killers are killing and shooting men, women and last week, a child.
Police say an investigation is on now for yet another spree of shootings and one man is dead.  Around 9pm last night, a man and woman were sitting in their yard on Abner Street in Fox Hill when a dark coloured car rolled up, fired shots, struck both of them and they are now recuperating in stable condition at hospital.
An hour later, 10pm a man and a woman were about to make a deposit at a local bank on Madeira Street when they were approached by two men with handguns who shot and robbed them of that deposit bag, they sped off in a dark coloured vehicle.  The man was killed on the spot, the woman is in critical condition.
One hour after that, a man had just gotten home on Croton Street in Pinewood Gardens when a dark coloured vehicle pulled up, the occupants of it shot him and then sped off.  The man is now in critical condition.  The police reports reveal that three couples – man and woman – were shot in less than 24 hours in Nassau.
Police do not say if these incidents on Monday night, all involving a dark coloured vehicle, are linked.
