Hurricane Irma causes Caribbean Airlines to cancel flights

Trinidad and Tobago, September 4th, 2017 – Port of Spain- Amid a growing Hurricane Irma in the region, Caribbean Airlines have begun cancelling flights. The airline has already cancelled two flights scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday 6th September from Port-of-Spain to St. Maarten scheduled to depart Trinidad at 7.50am and from Kingston to St. Maarten, scheduled to depart Jamaica at 2pm. The flights are BW 456 and BW 457 respectively.

The airline is also advising passengers who are carded to travel on September 6th to change or cancel their reservations, as more flights will be halted. Hurricane Irma continues to threaten the safety of persons in the Leeward Islands as well as those traveling in and out of the Caribbean region via the air bridge.
