#TurksandCaicos, September 20, 2017 – Grand Turk – There is not much detail but MagneticMedia is informed that the fast moving fire spread to a few homes, which are wooden and located opposite government’s water tank. Just hours ago, the Fire & Rescue Services had put out a notice which asked residents to stop lighting fires, that the smoke and flames are dangerous.
However, given that the communities are without electricity and mosquitoes are swarming in the aftermath of hurricane Irma, for many, there is little alternative. There was no word on whether anyone is hurt in that early morning blaze.
