#TurksandCaicos, September 12, 2017 – Providenciales – In the wake of Hurricane Irma, Digicel can announce that its mobile service is steadily being restored across the Turks and Caicos.
Communities in Providenciales in and around: Richmond Hills, Blue Hills, Tabernacle Church, Lower Bight, Grace Bay, Venetian, Cinema and Wheeland can now connect with their families and friends.
The Digicel Turks and Caicos team activated its recovery plan as soon as the all-clear was given with an additional response team from across the Caribbean arriving in to Turks and Caicos shortly after. This fleet of engineers is working round the clock to restore service with steady progress being made.
As the relief and recovery efforts continue, Digicel would like to encourage the public to heed all relevant advice from the appropriate agencies and take all necessary precautions to stay safe.
