Bahamas, August 8, 2017 – Grand Bahama – Three of five people in a traffic accident on August Monday holiday in Freeport are dead, confirmed by Police. It is a most devastating outcome for the tourist family visiting Grand Bahama after a two vehicle collision on Monday around 1pm, where a 76 year old woman is said to have died at the scene, and two others later passed away at the RMH due to the injuries in that serious smash up near Chesapeake Estates.
There is still no reported clarity on how such a serious accident occurred, but it involved that rental car, a Nissan Tiida and a GMC Sierra truck, driven by a male; he is said to have received minor injuries.
