Turks and Caicos, August 11, 2017 – Providenciales – The Maritime Department is hereby advising the general public, in particular the Boating Community that as of August 11th 2017 the Windward Development Company (Blue Cay Estate Project) will be carrying out Construction for PR 12518 to create canal access, beach creation, site grading, creation of pier structures and docks and approach dredging in Block 60903 – Providenciales.
The works are expected to be completed on or about November 30th, 2017. Due to this, we are asking all water sports operators; specifically captains, skippers, charter companies, and jet ski operators to please take note of the project and to be vigilant whilst operating in the designated area.
We ask all persons to adhere to the wake speed of five (5) MPH, as speeding may move the turbidity curtains around.
