#TurksandCaicos, August 28, 2017 – Providenciales – The Department of Road Safety and Transportation would like to remind the general public that it is illegal to drive without a driver’s license or on an expired driver’s license. In addition, it also illegal to operate an unlicensed vehicle.
Motorists are hereby advised to bring current all expired driver’s licenses; persons who have applied for a driver’s license are encouraged to visit the Road Safety Department on their respective island to collect same.
The Department would also like to advise that renewals are now processed on the same day if the application is submitted in the morning. The maximum turnaround time is three (3) days.
