Chinese Ambassador Makes Courtesy Call on the Prime Minister

Bahamas, August 15, 2017 – Nassau – Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas His Excellency Huang Qinguo made a courtesy call on Prime Minister, Dr. the Hon. Hubert Minnis on Monday, August 14, 2017 at the Office of the Prime Minister.

The Bahamas and China recently recognized their 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations at a Reception on Friday evening at the British Colonial Hilton.    Photos show a gift presentation during the courtesy call, and the Prime Minister with the Ambassador in a group including, from left: Chinese Embassy officials, Ambassador Huang Qinguo (third left), Prime Minister Minnis, Office of the Prime Minister Senior Policy Adviser Joshua Sears, and Office of the Prime Minister Permanent Secretary Jack Thompson.
