#UnitedKingdom, August 15, 2017 – London – A lack of training together and reported interference by management was blamed for the disappointing performances in the relays as The Bahamas emerges proud but pained by the showing at the IAAF World Championships in London, England.

It was 30th place for 24-member Team Bahamas at the end of an eventful track and field meet.    Two medals: a silver for #StevenGardiner in the 400m and a bronze for #ShaunaeMiller-Uibo in the 200m were enough for some satisfaction, but there are many lessons for the leaders and squad and the various issues which were costly in some events.
