#Bahamas, August 30, 2017 – Grand Bahama – Prime Minister Hubert Minnis said he will not give timelines as to how the talks on a revitalized Lucayan Strip is going in #GrandBahama and told media only that he and his team are working with diligent focus to push the development of the island along.

Curiosity is heightened with reports that a good buyer and a last minute deal struck by the PLP before they were ousted from office in the election  has fallen through; Minnis who was in Freeport agreed that there are too many people in Grand Bahama suffering, but refrained from giving any insightful details.

For East Grand Bahama it is reported that there is talk initiated with an investment group for eco development there and for the west of the island, it is only said that as those talks with a potential investor evolve, islanders will get more info.    PM Minnis said the plan is also for Grand Bahama Island to become a technology hub.
