Turks and Caicos, July 28, 2017 – Providenciales – Until Monday, the Police Records Office is closed and it has nothing to do with the general public and everything to do with some of the staff. Alleged corrupt practices among three staffers of the records office has led to an investigation being opened and the Turks and Caicos Police Force explained by media release that, “the Police Records Office has been immediately closed to allow a comprehensive collection of evidence…”
Some people will need those police character certificates before then though and for those individuals, you can express as much at Police Headquarters on Thursday and Friday – that’s today and tomorrow – between 9am and noon. As for the three staff members, they were arrested and their homes searched under the appropriate warrants, say Police.
