Turks and Caicos, July 6th 2017 – Providenciales – The Land Registry in Turks and Caicos is currently updating all records of address and contact information for persons interested in land. The Registry has stated that the purpose for the update is to ensure all communications are correctly delivered to the intended proprietors and to prevent any form of faud.
As a result, the Land Registry is advising all proprietors, chargees or other parties, who has an interest noted in the Land Register and who wishes to receive important communications that may affect their registered interest in the land, to complete a Notice of Change of Address Form , with no fees attached and return it to the Land Registry as soon as possible.
If the Land Registry is not informed about a change of address, it may mean that important correspondences cannot be received which may result in persons suffering loss as a result.
