Bahamas, July 4th 2017 – Nassau – Six Grand Bahama residents were yesterday charged in connection with the $4.2M drug bust in West end. 33-year old twin sisters Naomi and Ruth Woodside, 23-year old Silia Woodside, 44yr-old Arthur McNeil Stubbs Sr, his son 22 year-old Arthur McNeil Stubbs Jr and his wife 41-year old Helena Stubbs were all arrested on June 26th after police discovered 424lbs of suspected cocaine at their West end home. The drugs had an estimated street value of over $4M.

Yesterday morning they all appeared before Deputy Chief Magistrate, Andrew Forbes and each pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to supply. However, the magistrate advised that they can apply for bail in the Supreme Court as the charge is not liable in the lower court. They were then remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services. They will all return to court for the start of their trail on October 12th 2017.
