Minister Pintard Speaks at NBA/FIBA Event in The Bahamas DH

Bahamas, July 5, 2017 – Nassau – Minister of Youth, Sports and Culture the Hon. Michael Pintard speaks at the Basketball Without Borders (BWB) Americas 2017 Press Conference, at the Kendal Isaacs Gymnasium, on July 5, 2017.    Also pictured is National Basketball Association (NBA) player Dwight Powell of the Dallas Mavericks.

This is the first BWB camp for The Bahamas and it is a joint initiative of the NBA and the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), with the local Bahamas Basketball Federation (BBF).   Players and coaches from the NBA/Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) and FIBA will facilitate the training of the more than 60 young players from about 16 countries in the region slated to take part in the camp.
