Providenciales, Turks and Caicos – July 12, 2017 – Police are investigating the death of a 24 year old man, known around the island as ‘Haitian Fresh’, but it is not yet ruled a murder.
Magnetic Media is informed that the young man was chopped with a cutlass over the weekend and hospitalized and that on Tuesday night, he died, likely as a result of those wounds.
At this stage, Police are treating his death as ‘unexplained.’
Our source said this was not the first time the Kew Town man was chopped in a fight; that he did not report the first instance.
Police say an autopsy will say how he died and is asking for help in the investigation.
