Fire at Bahamas Rand Memorial Hospital
Grand Bahama, Bahamas July 21, 2017 — Patients and staff have been evacuated from the Rand Memorial Hospital in Freeport, Grand Bahama after a fire that appears to have started in the hospital’s kitchen around 3pm today.
The fire is said to have been contained and caused no serious damage. Some patients have been transfered to Sunrise Medical Centre while others have been temporarily relocated to the Christ the King Church.
