Providenciales, TCI July 18, 2017 — Two bench warrants were issued yesterday for employers who failed to appear in court for defaulting on National Insurance Board (NIB) payments.
The Providenciales Magistrate’s Court saw a total of four matters related to more than $64,000 in unpaid NIB contributions. The warrants were issued after two defendants in these matters failed to appear. The remaining cases were adjourned to August 14. The NIB was represented by Legal Assistant John Ewing Jr.
