Bahamas, July 4th 2017 – Nassau – Another Corrections Officer has been arrested for drug possession. According to police reports, last night drug enforcement officers arrested a 25-year old Corrections officer after he was found with a quantity of dangerous drugs.
Magnetic Media understands that the Corrections Officer had just arrived for duty at the Department of Corrections when Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) officers conducted a search. The officer was then taken into custody. The officers also conducted a search at the Corrections Officer’s home in Pastel Gardens when they discovered an additional quantity of marijuana. Investigations are ongoing.
