Turks and Caicos, June 15, 2017 – Providenciales – We are into the Atlantic Hurricane Season and since yesterday, the National Hurricane Center is watching two areas of disturbed weather. One is SSW of the Cabo Verde Islands, moving west near 20mph with only a 10% chance of becoming stronger.
The second area of low pressure is expected to form over the NW Caribbean Sea, it is adjacent to the Yucatan peninsula. This one is moving slowly and while there is zero chance of it becoming stronger in the next 48 hours, that chance increases to 40% in five days.
