Turks and Caicos, June 14, 2017 – Providenciales – The Turks and Caicos Islands Library Services Annual Read-a-thon will be held during the period June 19th – 30th, 2017 under the theme “One World. Many Stories.”
Read-a-thon is the perfect opportunity to encourage young children to read. It encourages those who already love reading and helps those who seldom read to rediscover the sense of wonder and adventure they once felt when they first heard “Once upon a time.”
Since its inception, hundreds of kids have participated in the Read-a-thon each year, and we are hoping that this year more children will be able to join in the fun of reading. Prizes this year will include Trophies, Gift Certificates and Books.
