POLICE SEARCHING FOR SUSPECTS IN THREE SEPARATE SHOOTINGS

Bahamas, June 30, 2017 – Nassau – Police are searching for the suspects responsible for three separate shooting incidents that have left three men detained in hospital on June 29.

In the first incident, shortly after 1:00 pm, a man was sitting in front of a home at Dorsett Street, Fox Hill, talking to two other men, when the occupants of a white Chevy Equinox vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition. Police later arrested two males in connection with this incident.

In the second incident, shortly before 10:00 pm, a man was sitting in front of his home located at Mantol Street, Montel Heights, when two males armed with a handgun approached and shot him before fleeing on foot. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he remains in serious condition.

In the final incident, shortly after 10:00 pm, a man was standing with several persons in front of a home located at Price Street, Nassau Village, when the occupants of a Nissan vehicle pulled up and shot him before speeding off. The victim was taken to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Investigations are ongoing.
