PDM upholds Premier’s termination decision, new position holders to be named today

Turks and Caicos, June 20, 2017 – Providenciales – Indisputable evidence to support the decision made the Premier to terminate Josephine Connolly as the Minister of Education was presented last night to the PDM Party executive in a special meeting called to deal with the vexing matter of reported disrespect and untruthfulness.

The People’s Democratic Movement party executive is super active as an NGC meeting was again held last night at the Party headquarters in Provo, the second such meeting this month and that is where the constitutional decision was made, we are told, to support the Premier.  Josephine Connolly was also at that meeting.

The press conference by the Premier was called off on Monday and is, instead expected to happen today.

Hon Connolly told Magnetic Media yesterday that her press conference will follow the Premier; she had accused party leader, Hon Sharlene Robinson of bypassing the process of the Party coming to a vote and giving her a chance to defend any accusation.

We are told nothing has changed as a result of the NGC meeting and that the new Education Minister and new Deputy House Speaker will be revealed officially today.
