United Kingdom, June 8, 2017Today, the United Kingdom goes to the polls.  Voting is from 7am to 10pm to elect one person for each of the 650 constituencies.

This election could be seen as being three years early, as an election was not due for the UK until 2020, however Prime Minister, Theresa May of the Conservatives got the nod in the House of Commons for a snap election and voting is today.

Jeremy Corbyn leads the Labour Party, Nicola Sturgeon leads the SNP or Scottish National Party and Tim Farron is leader for the Liberal Democrats.

Almost 46 million people are registered to vote in the UK.
