Turks and Caicos, June 15th 2017: June 26th marks International Day Against Drugs and Illicit Trafficking, and to raise awareness of the problem drug use and abuse has on society, the department of Mental Health and Substance Dependence is holding a walk-a-thon on Saturday 24th June.
The Department is calling on the public to participate in the event, which will take place at Sam Harvey’s building complex in Provo and proceed along a route to the Fortis Round-a-bout. It’s an attempt to promote healthier living choices and send a clear message to the public on the dangers of illicit drug use.
