High Powered Weapon seized, Two Suspects in Custody
Bahamas, June 1, 2017 – Nassau – Two people are being held by Police because a high powered weapon and ammunition were allegedly found in their Eastwood Estates home on May 31.
Reports are that shortly after 6:30 am, officers assigned to the Eastern Division conducted a search on home located at Pepper Road, Eastwood Estates and found an AK-47 Assault Rifle along with 30 rounds of ammunition. The two residents of the home, a male and female, were taken into custody in connection with this find.
Police are currently investigating.
