Turks and Caicos, June 3, 2017 – Providenciales – Congratulations and commendation is extended to two Fire Safety Officers, Mr. Georgie Penn and Mr. Ronnie Simmons, who recently completed a one week course in Fire Investigation at Florida State College in the United States of America.
Commenting on their success Fire Chief Mr. William C. Jennings said “The skills and knowledge they the officers gained during this training exercise will undoubtingly be of a great benefit to our team as they serve the community.”
Hon. Vaden Williams M.P. and the staff from the Ministry of Home Affairs Transportation and Communication joins the Fire Department in lauding their accomplishments. Hon. Williams added that “enhancing the department’s ability to successfully determine the cause of a fire will go a long in mitigating future events.”
