Bahamas, June 26th 2017: Grand Bahama was on fire with the best in Bahamian athletics talent on the weekend including two superstar sprinters – Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Steven Gardiner. Gardiner ran below the world qualifying time and solidified his place on the national team. Same goes for Shaunae who ran only the 200m to qualify with TyNia Gaither, both women made it to participate on Team Bahamas at the IAAF World Games set for London in August. Jamal Wilson and Donald Thomas are both good to go for high jump at the World Games, DeVynne Charlton is also in for the women’s 100m hurdles after going below the qualifying time in a riveting come back from injury.
