Turks and Caicos, May 9, 2017 – Providenciales – The Ministry of Infrastructure, Housing and Planning in collaboration the Water Undertaking Unit within the department of Public Works, would like to advise the residents of Grand Turk that due to circumstances beyond their control, the Water Undertaking Unit is experiencing technical difficulties with one of their water production plants. As a precautionary measure, the plant was temporarily shut down to avoid further damage.
While the Water Undertaking team works towards rectifying this situation, some areas in Grand Turk might experience a loss in water pressure.
Please note that our Unit is utilizing all efforts to minimize downtime and would like to thank the General Public for their patience and understanding, while we seek to have this matter rectified.
