TCIG recruiting for 150 positions

Providenciales, TCI May 1, 2017 – The Turks & Caicos Government (TCIG) has announced a recruitment drive for 150 positions within the civil service. Of these positions, 104 are new while 50 are currently vacant.

The drive was announced in a statement by Deputy Governor Anya Williams. The positions available are in Law & Enforcement, Finance, Trade & Investment, Home Affairs, Public Safety, Health & Human Services and Tourism and Environment. There are 18 new positions within the police staff alone. There will also be 10 positions related to Long Bay High School in Infrastructure and Special Needs.

Williams said that TCIG was looking forward not only to new team members, but also to giving deserved promotions to “further create opportunities for development and new starters.” She added that the government expected to fill these vacancies in a timely manner.
