Bahamas, May 11, 2017 – Nassau – Following the Progressive Liberal Party’s defeat at the polls yesterday, party chairman Bradley Roberts said the organization needs to rebuild. In a concession speech from the PLP headquarters last night, Roberts congratulated the Free National Movement on its victory and said: “There is an adage that the voice of the people is the voice of God.
We believe this and we humbly accept their verdict. We congratulate those who are victorious and the PLP will have to go into a mode of rebuilding.”
