Pastors in anti crime march

Turks and Caicos, May 8, 2017 – Providenciales – A moving protest through Providenciales as Pastors and Believers in Christ paraded in an anti crime march on Sunday.  From the down town area to the First Caribbean round about, there was a stand by the church to see the scourge of crime reduced, to see the violence and armed offenses abated. 

We spoke to organizing pastors. “The march is to really bring an awareness to the community at large on what is going on, and stemming from this march, we’re going to have some town hall meetings where we go in different communities and help to assist them in being watchmen for their neighbors, and also putting together some neighbor watches so that they can keep an eye on the community and get some of these crimes nipped in the butt, because it is getting worse, it is escalating and it’s time for it to stop.”
