Turks and Caicos, May 16, 2017 – Providenciales –  Cabinet last week agreed for some big developments to begin being processed including the strong interest for a tall scale development in Provo.   Invest Turks and Caicos Agency has been given the green light to begin negotiations on a development agreement for a seven storey resort to be constructed in Provo, once it passes the requisite Cabinet approvals.

The hotel, explained Cabinet minutes, will be called Le Bisha.   There is also a proposal for owners of Ocean Club West to launch a renovation and expansion project.   The resort on Grace Bay beach wants to extend the dune area, create what is called a sunset seating area, carve out beach access for handicap users and open a restaurant and dining deck.

It was just last week that touristic development was announced for North Caicos, where a now controversial promenade is planned for the island; it too is a design which is touted to compliment a planned hotel development.
