Local DJs Boycott Bahamas Carnival

Bahamas, May 1, 2017 – Freeport – With the kickoff of the Junkanoo Carnival held this weekend, many locals, including Disc Jockeys have decided to boycott the 2017 Bahamas Junanoo Carnival. This decision comes as the organizers of the carnival have gone against using local DJs for the event. In a statement, the disc jockeys said “We The Disc Jockeys based on Freeport, Bahamas WILL NOT be supporting Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival 2017 in NO WAY, FORM OR FASHION.

The organizers of this event have seen it fit to carry on this event without ONE (1) local Grand Bahama DJ as apart of the line up. Further, it is rumoured that a Sound System was shipped in from elsewhere to fulfill its purpose.

We are humbly asking those of you who are Friends, Family and Fans of ours to join us in The BOYCOTT of this event for the Blatant disrespect and non-consideration towards US; (GB DISC JOCKEYS)”.

Seek your favorite GB DJ’s Social media for confirmation of this release.
