Bahamas, May 4th 2017, Nassau: Could the Former Prime Minister and Leader of the FNM, Hubert Ingraham’s return to the stage be the secret to the FNM possibly winning the 2017 polls? Since his appearance on the FNM platform, the former prime minister has left no rock unturned in his path, calling out a number of critical issues, the Bahamian people wish to see answered.

Wednesday night was no different, as thousands turned up in Nassau to hear the Former Prime Minister speak, transforming the Q.E. Sports Centre into a sea of red. One would assume the man fondly called Papa, appearance on the FNM stage, meant he had returned to the leadership of the party.

The former PM says the PLP ‘s actions have given the nation enough reason to be concerned, from the increase in unemployment to the current regime’s handling of the nation’s public purse and increase in taxes.

In response to the call to provide evidence over his claims of $860,700 gone missing from the Ministry of Finance, the former PM says the ministry already has all the information needed. He went on to list a number of reasons the country’s debt has increased, describing the “country’s cash position as precarious, spending more money than they are taking in.”

Ingraham says the ‘time had come for the PLP to account for its failed promises, from VAT, to Baha Mar, to Mortgage relief to the National Health insurance promised in the first year in office’.

The former Prime Minister told them to listen out for him come Friday night in Grand Bahama as he has more to expose.
