Ingraham to North Abaco voters: Dont throw away your vote to the DNA

Bahamas, May 2nd 2017, North Abaco: “If you got a vote to waste, you can look that way, But if you got a vote to count, vote for the FNM”, the words of Former Prime Minister and FNM Leader Hubert Ingraham as he took the stage in North Abaco on Monday night.

The former Prime Minister took a jab at the Green party, the DNA, urging voters “not to trifle by voting anything other than the FNM, as a vote against the PLP was a vote for the FNM.” He warned there were “No in-betweens, No spoilers and No green, and Red is the colour”.

In listing the FNM’s promises to people of North Abaco, the former PM gave his two reasons for voting the red team back in office, a promise to return Bahamas Airways to Treasure Cay and to resume the resurfacing project at the airport.

Questioning the latest debacle with Education Minister Jerome Fitzgerald and Attorney General Allyson Maynard-Gibson, as to why they haven’t gone yet, the Former Prime Minister told PLP supporters not to be confused by the so-called “good ones” in the lot. He likened this to the story of the Parrot and the Crow, where the farmer shot at the crows but injured the parrot, but in the end told the parrot “if you had not been with the crows, you would be safe and sound”.

Ingraham is expected to appear on all FNM’s Mass rallies nightly this week.
