The Cancer Society of The Bahamas’ 16th Annual Gala Ball took place at the Melia Resort on Saturday. The theme for this year’s gala was “Celebrate! – Faith, Hope, Love.” Proceeds from the event will benefit the society’s Cancer Caring Expansion Project. The society presented two awards at the gala. Iris Pinder received the Susan Andrews Award while Dr. Larry Carroll was the Lifetime Commitment Honoree. Recently, ALIV became the platinum sponsor of the gala.
